DESCRIPTION:Race #4 July 15th \nLaramie Mountain Bike Series\n\n\n\nIn addition to the information below\, please review the Laramie Racing General Race Info. page to see race rules and understand how we do things. \nStart Times/Race Lengths:\nRaces start at 6pm (Kids race at 5:50pm). \nSpecific start times and distances for each category will be posted on the course page the night before each race. Be sure to check the big information board at the race to verify start times and the number of laps you will be racing! It is your responsibility to know how many and what laps you should be doing. \nTwo Locations!!!!!\nRaces #1 and #2 on Pilot Hill:\nRegistration and Start/Finish will be at the north end of Boulder Drive\, in Laramie. Here’s a map. Parking will be available along Boulder Dr. and in the Snowy Range Acadamy parking lot\, on the east side of Boulder Drive. Please do not park in the Walgreens or Spine and Injury Clinic parking lots. \nPilot Hill weather forecast \nRaces #3\, #4\, and #5 at Happy Jack\nRegistration and Start/Finish will be at the Happy Jack Trailhead. To get to the trailhead\, take I-80 to exit 323. Turn towards the rest area (left if coming from Laramie\, right if from Cheyenne) and then left onto WYO 210. The trailhead is about 2 miles down the road on the right. Look for a big sign that says “Happy Jack Recreation Area”. Here’s a map. \nThe Medicine Bow National Forest charges a $5 (cash only) daily parking fee at the race trailhead. You can also get an annual pass from the Forest Service for $30. \nHappy Jack weather forecast \nRace day amenities:\nThese are bare bones races. There is a bathroom in the parking lot\, and that’s about it. Bring anything you think you might need with you. \nLeaders “Jersey”:\nIn order to properly recognize their supreme dominance over Laramie mountain biking\, the current points leader in each category will have to carry\, on their bike\, some small trinket until the next race. DESCRIPTION:Race #3\nJuly 1st \nThe goal of the LMBS is to provide a low key\, competitive\, and inexpensive evening of bike racing for all levels of mountain bikers. With a relaxed atmosphere\, there is still quality and competitive racing. This is a great series for first timers through pro riders. Courses are new each race. We strive for course lengths and technical difficulties that match the categories racing them. \n\nWe have five races in the works for this coming summer.
